Solutions Designer, Hadoop, BI, DWH, Contract, Neuss Germany
Our large global client based in Germany is looking for a Solution Designer to work on a significant Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse project portfolio. You will be responsible for Solution Design, Datamodelling and deploying solutions.
An excellent opportunity to have accountability for owning level designs from conception through to final stage, and work with emerging technologies in the Hadoop eco system, Hbase, Map & Reduce, Sqoop, Pig, Hive, Impala, YARN.
Adopting frameworks including Cloudera or AWS Hadoop, to design build levels, stages, missions and technical process.
This will suit candidates able to work both autonomously and as part of a team. Managing your time effectively to hit project deadlines, you will also form part of an innovative team to participate in the R&D of new tools relating to design, and actively share ideas and suggestions as the team continuously strive to be better. You will form a key figure driving forward consistent design practices throughout various projects.
Ideal candidates will have knowledge of the following technologies:
Hadoop eco system - Hadoop, Map&Reduce, Pig, Hive, Impala, Hbase, Sqoop, YARN
Hadoop frameworks - Cloudera and/or AWS Hadoop
Database - AWS Redshift, AWS RDS
Frontend - Qlik and/or Tableau
ETL - Alteryx/Talend
You will have solid solution design experience and be familiar to working with Business Intelligence or DataWarehouse teams.
With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you will be able to plan your time effectively to achieve project milestones.
Degree educated Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry or Bioinformatics or equivalent through experience.
