For our client we are seaching for a Software Integration Engineer (m/f)Objective:
SW-developer with the main focus to integrate SW-building blocks into a customer application. This activity includes the development of the middleware SW as well the integration, commissioning and problem analyses of the entire embedded software system on 16 and 32 Bit control units.
Main tasks:
Software requirements capture
- Analyze and derive SW-requirement based on the top level customer and system requirement documents including the creation of the traceability and test criteria.
Software design documentation
-Define system software design in cooperation with the supplying SW teams including the ensuring of the verification of the design and the traceability into the SW-requirements.
Implementation of new software modules (middleware SW and project specific “add ins”)
- Development of new SW modules in “C” based on the derived SW-requirements and design covering the complete development process .
Software configuration & integration
- Integrate all SW modules (BSW, middleware and application) and ensure the proper configuration. Define and perform SW-integration tests based on the SW-requirements in cooperation with the test team on ECU and mechatronic system level (HiL).
Software release
- Create internal and customer SW releases including all required documentation. Support approval and release process by supplying all required work items.
Problem analyses
-Investigate and analyse issue reports which will be reported based on the integrated SW level in cooperation with the test team. Address the issues to the right SW team and support these teams to fix the issues and track the progress.
SW services
-Build up and maintenance of the SW development environment, module test and SW integration environment. Supporting of technical detail discussions with the customer.
Required skills:
Degree in electrical engineering or Computer science
Strong embedded software knowledge on automotive control units for several years.
Good practical proven experience in the programming language “C” is mandatory. Experience in Matlab/Simulink and Targetlink is beneficial.
Good knowledge of automotive software development processes.
Proven communication, team working and organizational talents.
Flexibility and autonomous working required.
Good English and German language skills (reading & writing).
Willingness for occasional business trips
