We are recruiting for an extensively experienced Information Classification Programme Manager on a 12 month contract to be based in Germany.
The role itself requires a Programme Manager to assume responsibility for the implementation of a Global Information Classification programme. Prior experience of leading a similar project within a multi-national company is absolutely essential to any application.
By Information Classification Program we would consider following:
- Bringing an information classification policy in the organisation; aligning across the organisation and creating the awareness needed.
- Manage workgroups that identify gaps in information governance and further detail the policy with additional rules (IT and non-IT).
- Manage workgroups that identify actions necessary to improve solutions/services to implement these rules, define roadmaps to do so and run projects to realise (IT and non-IT).
- Help all parts of the organisation (starting in HQ) to identify key document/information types and classify the Terabytes of existing information accordingly.
- To do so, a standard process must have been prepared (and is to be improved by lessons learned), including the appropriate knowledge/technology support which may come from the outside.
We are particularly looking for an individual who can effectively liaise with and update senior stakeholders and executives within the organisation. You will be expected to coherently develop plans and roadmaps for further improvements to information classification programmes across the organisation, as well as having a deep understanding of best practice and tools within the space.
The assignment will be for an initial 12 month period with a view to extend. The opportunity is based in Germany with the possibility for some remote working further down the line.
