On behalf of one of our international clients in Holland and Germany, we are urgently looking for 2 experienced project Security & Network Engineer (CCIE) Consultants whom are required to join our Customer’s team(s) based in Solna (Sweden), Amsterdam (Holland) or Hamburg/Berlin (Germany).
This role is focused on security and / or network support but will also include significant exposure to the delivery of Network Project activities across all technology areas within the remit of Customer network.

Role Description
The role will require experienced professionals who can demonstrate a good understanding of technologies within LAN, WAN, Security, Encryption and Data Centre environment.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate security and network knowledge in line with Cisco CCIE level accreditation with particular focus on Cisco base installations and standards based dynamic routing protocols. Additional exposure to other network technologies is expected at this level with focus on Wireless, Security, Load balancing, IPT and Encryption technologies.
The Engineer will take part of the operational support and thereby deal with incident-based trouble tickets and Service Requests. He takes care of the route cause analysis and fault resolution. He focuses on daily operation and on the availability of the IT infrastructure. He takes part in the definition of detailed concepts to operate the equipment in order to improve end user experience in close co-operation with existing IT-personnel of Customer.

Overall Role Purpose
To provide operational support, problem management, design input, change related activities and project implementation within a Network Support / Engineering role.
A good understanding and practical exposure to Cisco network hardware both from an installation and support perspective is also expected as is practical exposure to supporting and deploying Firewall solutions with a particular focus on Checkpoint Firewalls (deep knowledge of cross platform technologies). The Engineer is experienced with the design of technologies from Cisco and / or Checkpoint. He is also capable of system configuration, planning and implementation of technical equipment and applications and also to run operational improvement initiatives from a technical perspective.

Main Responsibilities
? Run and maintain support of Customer Data Networking infrastructure.
? Design input for Customer Data Networking infrastructure.
? Project implementation of Networks infrastructures in line with AT&T standard offerings.
? Investigation into and resolution of incidents relating to AT&T managed network infrastructures.
? Engineering activities associated with maintenance of large, distributed Data Networking infrastructure.
? Working as part of a Leveraged team.
? Provide 24x7 cover for operational issues (participate in On-Call activities).
? Support of Technical Architects in the design process to ensure AT&T standards are being met and followed.
? Interaction with 3rd party suppliers to and vendors ensure industry best practice and standards are adopted and maintained across the deployed environment.

Technical competences:
Senior Network Engineers are expected to be experienced in minimum these technical disciplines and tools:

? Routing Protocols: Technical expertise and extensive experience within routing protocols such as OSPF, RIP, BGP, MPLS, ISIS, IGRP, EIGRP.
? Security: Technical expertise and extensive experience in Security such as Access List, Firewall zone configuration and QoS (Quality of Service).
? Switching Protocols: Technical expertise and extensive experience in switching protocols such as VLAN, STP, RSTP, VTP.
? VPN Technology: Technical expertise and extensive experience within VPN technologies such as VRF, IPSEC, GRE, L2TP, L2VPN, L3VPN.
? Data Center competences: Technical expertise and extensive experience in Data Center Technologies such as vPC, vPC+, FabricPath and OTV.
? Load Sharing: Technical expertise and extensive experience in Redundant and load sharing protocols such as VRRP, HSRP, NSRP.
? Authorisation: Technical expertise and extensive experience in authentication, authorization, accounting and dynamic address allocation (RADIUS, DHCP).
? Ethernet related disciplines: LAN, ISDN, ADSL, WLAN, WAN, VLAN, VRRP, HSRP, GLBP, VSS
? Remedy
? Network Management tools: Cisco NCS Prime, Cisco ISE, Solarwinds. HP OpenView, Sniffer PRO, WireShark

Workload will be dictated and managed by ticket volumes, project requirements and line management however a pro-active approach is expected to facilitate maintenance and management of the deployed environment.

Key Attributes
? The applicant will need to have strong general Networking skills in addition to product specific ones. Professional certifications are expected at Cisco CCIE / Checkpoint CCSE level as well as a broad knowledge base in a cross-vendor multi-disciplined environment.
? Strong prioritisation and communication skills in order to work in a technically challenging area supporting multiple activities with changing demands being set by both CSC account teams and the client.
? An ability to learn new technologies in a short space of time.
? Be disciplined to ensure adherence to process and procedure.
