Our client is currently setting up a new business division and aiming to provide the next generation of innovative communications solutions.

On behalf of our client, Manning Global is currently look for:

Position Title: Test Manager
Position Type: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Dusseldorf, Germany

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate multi-site, international efforts for testing basic functionality and applications of smartphones including cloud based services.
- Select and manage external partners, test companies and subcontractors including negotiations.
- Project-manage test activities and track progress of test results.
- Ensure quality and timeliness of test activities.
- Ensure efficient communication and collaboration between development and testing teams.
- Contribute to enhancement of test methods and procedures, e.g. through choice of the most appropriate test automation and load tests.
- Create reports for higher-level project management and other stakeholders.

Qualifications/Professional experiences Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in test planning and test coordination in complex smartphone projects or at least 5 years of experience in test planning and test coordination in complex software projects.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in managing and controlling internal and external employees in different locations.
- Extensive experience with use cases and test specifications.
- Experience with or knowledge of software quality in agile environments.
- Experience with type approvals and acceptance tests
- Very good grasp of the needs and wishes of Android smartphone users.
- Active interest in the improvement of quality processes.
- Very good written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluency in English and ideally German language.
