We are looking for a “Project Manager / ICT Infrastructure Rollout and Migration (m/f) in the area of global Rollouts from centralized ICT Services (LAN/WAN/Voice/WiFi)" for our customer from the telecommunication sector with the following basic conditions:Start: January 2019
Duration: 6 months +
Location: Düsseldorf and ocassional travel to Hannover
Tasks:
• To lead and take ownership of complex and strategic Customer programs in order to achieve complete satisfaction of the client, on schedule, quality assured and within budget.
• Typical contract value (TCV) ranging 20M€ - 100M€ with the responsibility of managing large virtual teams and reporting to senior management (director level).
• Scope of delivery typically entails standard and non-standard solutions including; mobility, LAN, WAN, IPT, Security and managed solutions with contract value £20m+ and reporting into C level stakeholders.
• Operating at a strategic level, to establish and manage; budgets, deliverables, milestones and timescales for the program to ensure all contractual obligations are met.
• Act as advisor to the Bid Team on all Programme elements as required and agreed for proposal submission; delivering the needed governance documentation (High Level Plan, Programme Definition Document-PDD) and provide guidance to Solution Architect regarding creation Statement of Work.
• Mobilise programme team, which may involve 3rd Parties and creation of processes for delivery.
• Lead the virtual programme team (as the overall primary point of contact and escalation point), coordinate all programme delivery activities and ensure that all key milestones are met.
• Execute the programme governance and chair both operational and strategic programme review boards.
• Proactively provide the programme Customer and internal stakeholders with frequent programme progress reports, highlighting Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies, Changes.
• Comply with methodology and complete gateway approval sessions in project management tool with the team/regional lead to gain approval and 100% reporting compliance.
• Evidence that governance structure is documented and that it is being used to manage the programme risks and issues effectively.
• Customer Satisfaction rating (in response to quarterly Delivery Customer Satisfaction Survey).
• Typical function reporting into Global Project Manager would be (depending on scope and complexity): Transition / Transformation Managers; PMO resources; Third Parties; Central Services; Financial & Commercial Management
• Management of multiple stakeholders, with a range of cultural backgrounds, frequently with English as a second language.
Requirements:
• Excellent written and oral communications skills and established team player with well-developed influence and relationship management skills.
• Essential is fluent English written and spoken for internal communication as well as fluent local language skills - multi-lingual skills advantageous for international customer support.
• Ability to manage from a distance, resources who work for other organisations.
• Experience of delivering complex solutions combining mobility and mobility services (ordering, billing), LAN, WAN, IPVPN, security and managed solutions required
• Benificial would be experience in international IPVPN roll-out using multiple different carriers (with direct interfacing customer teams and 3rd party)
• Extensive Programme Management experience required.
• Successful track record of Programme/Project Managing complex international inter-company initiatives.
• Exposure to commercial management; contractual negotiation experience required
