The Opportunity
Templeton & Partners is looking for a German speaking Data Protection Officer to join one of our international clients in Mannheim, Germany for an initial 6 months (with option to extend)
The Task
We're looking for a German speaking Data Protection Officer to help with working on all departments that process personnel, customer and supplier data etc.
Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the Data Protection Officer:-
- Manage day-to-day compliance questions for risk area
- Escalate issues to Global Program Manager, Regional Compliance Officer
- Assist with risk assessment for risk area
- Inform companies about existing data protection obligations and monitor their compliance
- Providing information and communicate with authorities.
- Training of employees on data privacy topics
- Maintaining processing directory
