Senior AWS Cloud Migration Consultant (m/f)
Start: /Duration: 12 months/Location: London and Cologne/ProjectID: 3999
Our customer is a renowned financial service provider within a leading global player in the international automotive industry with billions of turnover As a Senior AWS Cloud Migration Consultant, you will migrate European data centers and data centers outside Europe to the Amazon Cloud.
Your tasks:
- Implementation of the migration of the European Data Center in the UK and other data centers in other countries to the AWS Cloud
- Architecture of the cloud environment and the server infrastructure
- Cloud security design, Cloud platform operating, capacity and problem management
- Cooperation with internal and external employees as well as the service providers Amazon and Rackspace etc.
- Performing Cloud Backups
- Creation of system documentation
Your skills:
- Degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
- Profound experience in the field of cloud migration and service management
- Proven experience in the field of Amazon Web services cloud, Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud EC2, Amazon Simple Storage Service S3 implementations
- Experience in migrations within large IT environments with distributed teams
- Project experience from international projects
- Self-confident personality and solution-oriented working style with a lot of initiative, analytical thinking skills and a quick comprehension
- Communicative team player with hands-on mentality and assertiveness
- Very good in English
