DESCRIPTION:
Advise on the scope and implementation of a global data governance system for our client.
Set up the relevant project structure, roles and responsibilities necessary to lead the design and implementation of the global data governance system, in compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory frameworks governing the access to, retention, sharing and disposal of data across the client's system.
SKILLS:
Significant and practical experience and understanding of data/information governance and security management and relevant standards (eg Access Management, Change Management, Security Incidents Management) in international organizations
Broad knowledge and understanding of complex information technology applications and infrastructure
Experience with a practical and problem solving approach based on the implementation of data compliance and governance
Significant experience in managing complex projects including project/change management in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Highly developed interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and managing skills: ability to interact with a range of stakeholders at all levels, technical, operational and senior stakeholders with differing agendas
Strong analytical skills; ability to evaluate complex issues often with incomplete information and to devise effective, workable solutions
Excellent communication skills - at various level of seniority and to varied audiences including solid technical writing foundation, eg communicating through reports, meetings, or memos the best use of data from business owner, to IT, all the way to the consumer
Managing a geographically dispersed project team with different cultural and professional backgrounds. Experience of motivating project team members (including senior staff) and ensuring objectives are clear, understood and met
