For our client, a trusted leader in market research present in over 100 countries, we are looking for the area Nuremberg for a CONSULTANT (m/w) Data Center/ Disaster Recovery.Start will be beginning of September 2018 until 31.12.2018 with option of extension.
The background of the project:
The client is running a data center (DC) consolidation program. The aim of the program is to consolidate three datacenters into a single new one hosted by one global DC provider. The three major work streams are
1. The setup of the target DC infrastructure
2. The preparation and execution of the application moves into the new location
3. The DR (disaster recovery) enablement of the most important business application
- You will be responsible for the 3. - DR Governance deliverablesTasks:
- DR Workbook Phase II (solution overview, governance and processes)
- DR Report Phase II (Management Summary Report).
Both deliverables are available as draft documents from Phase I.
- In addition, you will be responsible for the steering of an audit company, who will accompany the workstream and audit the solution.
Requirements:
- Very good Consulting and Project Management know-how
- Strong and professional communication skills with internal and external clients
- Strong documentation skills
- Experienced in cross-organizational process and/or governance topics
- Experienced in IT SM concepts and their implementation
- Experience in IT processes
- Risk management, operational risks- Steering of regulatory topics
- Nice to have: experience with auditors / testation of an IT solution
- English required (documentation will be in English language)
