Task:Our client is a legal entity of its mother company. It provides services in the areas of information and communications technology (ICT), Back Office and Middle Office, real estate management, security management and procurement.
The departmant ensures that the requirements of the bank and requests from external customers are attended to quickly and effectively.
The Area Post Trade ICT is fully responsible for 3 Calypso platforms running at the client. The Calypso Back office application, responsible for processing of OTC Derivatives, FX & Money market trades. Calypso MAS, responsible for the Accounting sub-ledger functionality within UniCredit. And Calypso Securities Instance, responsible for Middle Office processing for Cash Equity & Fixed Income products, as well as Collateral Allocation & Optimization Processing.
In this request the client is looking for support for the Back Office application. The role includes project as well as production support activities.
As a Business Consultant in this environment, you will be part of our functional team, which is responsible for the 2nd/ 3rd Level support & change activities from functional point of view for our Calypso Back office instance working in close collaboration with our technical colleagues. In this role you will specialize yourself as an Expert responsible for the different subjects on this platform, e.g. Deal Capture, Reporting, Messaging, Static Data or Settlement Instruction. You will take part in projects and specify requirements, develop solutions and review specifications. Your responsibility will be to assure quality and compliance to internal and external standards in our demanding environment. Based on your functional experience, understanding of business needs and their representation in our environment, you will support the continuous evolution of our activities in order to ensure a high stability and quality of our delivery. By applying your analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with functional skills, you will be able to analyze the requests out of daily business and projects and find proper solutions for our customers.
Requirements (Must have):
+5 years of experience in financial industry projects
> Very good Calypso knowledge with experience in:
- Deal capture & trade life cycle of FX, MM, FXO, Credit, Interest Rate, Equity & Commodity Derivatives, Equity & Fixed Income Securities
- Trade workflows & transfer generation
- Calypso messaging
- Confirmations (Paper, DS Match, CLS) & Matching
- Payments & Accounting (SWIFT, internal settlement systems, client accounting)
- Accounting module
- Task Station & Access Permissions
- DTCC GTR module for EMIR and Dodd Frank regulations
- Reporting Functionalities
- CalypsoML
- CATT (Calypso´s regression test tool) experience would be a plus
Other skills, very good knowledge about
> financial instruments (FX/MM, OTC derivatives) and the related business processes
> FX/MM, OTC derivatives settlement processes (trade validation requirements, confirmation processes, settlement & CCP clearing, accounting, collateral).
> regulatory requirements in financial markets (especially EMIR & D/F regulations)
> automated testing
> agile project methodologies & related tools
> understanding of software development processes, SQL, xml…
