Für unseren Kunden suchen wir zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt in freiberuflicher Tätigkeit/ Festanstellung eine/n Desktop and Laptop Support Lead (m/w) in Essen.

Ihre Aufgaben:

As a Technology Lead, you will be intensely involved in defining the problem, propose and refine the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project scope. You will manage day-to-day operations of the IT technical support team with your wide range of experience, supporting multiple platforms including desktops, laptops, mobile devices and videoconferencing equipment. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.


Ihr Profil:

• Expert knowledge and hands-on desktop support for hardware and software problems on desktop and laptops
• Expert knowledge supporting a blended Windows and MAC environments, including common user applications
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office 2007 or later, Outlook in and Exchange Environment, Internet Explorer, basic hardware issues, desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices both in person and remotely
• Experience troubleshooting LAN, server and connectivity issues
• Experience utilizing a ServiceNow for incidents and requests
• Working knowledge of hardware components, hardware configurations and software
• Configure workstations for new users and upgrade existing device and software
• Provide support and troubleshooting service to VIP remote users
• Administrate MS Active Directory accounts and groups
• Provide remote printer troubleshooting and support
• Vendor coordination and service level management experience.
• Understanding of best practices, with respect to security and compliance.
• Experience authoring and updating technical documentation.
• Knowledge of new and emerging technologies
• Plan and oversee daily activities of entry-to-immediate level team members

Preferred

• A detail-oriented, organized and dependable individual who will lead a team of desktop and laptop support engineers
• Excellent technical troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to speak German is a plus
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage time effectively, and work independently
• Independently resolve problems and escalate as necessary and within time
• Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to work in a team environment in order to perform professional and organizational responsibilities.
• Excellent oral and communication skills to interact and work with global IT teams (EU based) & end customers.
