Program Manager role (Network access planner) - Cologne area
My client, a global telecommunications company, is seeking a Network Access Planner with experience in telecommunications/service providers for a 6-month period beginning on July 9th.
This role involves capacity expansion of network access
Tasks:
- Estimate traffic development in the HFC segment/Node area
- Evaluate utilization overviews and derive the need for action
- As a rule, capacity expansion measures are to be planned individually on a case-by-case basis (node split vs. channel extension vs. 1: N resolution).
- Variant planning node splits, creation of planning and release document
- Coordination of methods and results with the interfaces of neighbouring departments (Engineering, Planning, Quality & Performance, Liberty Amsterdam)
- Specification of the costs and work involved in the NE2/NE3 Plan & Build departments (SAP element is created using the budget specified by the planner).
- Creation of sub-project costs and support in budget optimization
- Examining Capacity Extensions in New Build (Whitespots/FTTx Territories)
- Consulting/Concept Planning B2B
- Development of short-, medium- and long-term network and connectivity concepts and customized solutions (B2B, Wholesale) (eg Necessity Access concentrator)
- Consulting & sales support, cost estimation in the presales phase
- Implementation of customer appointments to agree on the requirements and feasibility
- Investigation of resulting network requirements and provision of detailed connection plans in compliance with economic aspects

This role has a daily rate of EUR 660
