Current Need:
We are seeking a IBP and Supply Planning Solutions Architect who will be responsible for designing IT solutions for demand planning, replenishment, and inventory optimization for our business partners. A solid business understanding of supply planning processes combined with hands-on SAP configuration experience is necessary. Understanding of integration points and dependencies between the SAP planning components and other SAP modules is required.
Position Description:
- Partner with business partners across various McKesson business units and understand their current and future business needs
- Evaluate various COTS products and fit against business needs. Drive strategy to enable an enterprise wide platform for demand planning, replenishment, inventory management and optimization
- Influence design discussions around meeting those business needs in a standard manner, fully leveraging SAP product capabilities or other COTS products
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and ability to configure and understand the core supply planning processes, specifically: demand planning, inventory replenishment, S&OP, supply planning etc.
- Convert requirements into program specifications and necessary system documentation
- Partner with enterprise architecture and cross-functional delivery teams to develop service/application roadmaps and demonstrate forward thinking, maintaining a short and long-range plan for IT application life cycle management
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Typically has 10+ years relevant experience. Relevant Masters or Doctorate qualifications may be considered in lieu of the relevant working experience.
Critical Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of the following end-to-end business process: demand planning, S&OP, inventory allocation and optimization, supply and response planning, replenishment planning in a consumer products or distribution type of business
- Experience that spans architecture, design, build and test, including hands-on implementation and configuration experience
- Demonstrated prior experience effectively collaborating with customers and cross functional teams to deliver superior business outcomes, and influencing stakeholders through fact-based analysis
- Skilled at clear and confident presentation and communications with key stakeholders including C-level leadership and external customers
