Quality Manager

We are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious international telecommunications company ?to join their business in Germany.

Position Title: Quality Manager
Position Type: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Permanent

Responsibilities:
- To manage projects with a mix of internal teams, partners, external consultants and peers on the customer side
- Taking overall responsibility for planning and managing a specified subproject of a multi-partner large sized project with significant teams which delivery is key to the overall customer project
- The Project Manager will have input into the project planning process
- To build strong client contacts with senior stakeholders across the business
- Be responsible for successful project delivery in aspects of quantity, quality, on time delivery within the assigned project scope
- Manage the overall project deliverables fulfilling on time delivery of roll out targets assuring quality standards are fulfilled in accordance with the customer guidelines
- Constantly contribute on improving efficiency and reducing cost of the project delivery
- Increasing customer satisfaction, setting achievable customer expectations and ensuring commitments to customers are met
- Provide progress reports on key deliverables to management and customer at an agreed frequency
- Additional tasks assigned by the manager to be completed whenever applicable

Qualifications:
- Solid background in telecommunications of at least 10 years experience
- Must have been in multiple senior project management positions (5 years minimum) in telecommunication area managing complex projects in accordance with recognized project management methodology (PMP, Prince 2 or equivalent).
- Previous experience in the German telecommunications market, in roll out management related fields ideally with knowledge of our main operators.
- Demonstrates excellent leadership skills and "can do" attitude - can inspire and energize people by gaining respect and trust
- Relevant experience in vendor/partner/subcontractor management
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in pressurized, stressful and uncertain situations
- Capable to develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders within the business at all levels
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Projects, Word and PowerPoint are essential
- English and German fluent
