Templeton and Partners are currently searching for a Big Data/Data Scientist for a freelance opportunity in Germany, German language is highly desirable.
Within this role you will take on responsibility for managing big data and data analytics projects. Your role will take on board all aspects from integration of Big Data Technologies and Architecture to training of your colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working on structured and unstructured data
- Consulting colleagues and business on integration of BI into Big Data environment
- Advising the business of Big Data best practices and principles
Key Skills:
- Completed a IT university degree, eg in the field of computer science or comparable field
- Project experience and several years experience on big data/data analytics with a focus on Hadoop
- Statistical methods eg Data Mining, Machine Learning etc
- Highly beneifical if you have programming exposure on languages such as; Python and Scala
- Knowledge of Big Data Databases such as SAP HANA and Apache Hadoop
- Posess ideally several years experience on PLM or supply chain management experience
- Process and KPI management experience are also beneficial
- German and English language skills are highly desirable
