My client, a leading German telecommunication provider with headquarter in Cologne, is currently looking for an experienced IT Operations Professional to support the monitoring of business-critical E2E processes. The project will start on the 15th March 2018 for the duration of 4 months.

Duration: (Option for a further extension)

Location: Cologne

Sector: Telecommunication

Capacity: 4/5 days/week on location

Languages: German/English


  • Monitoring and ensuring the agreed service levels in the context of E2E service management
  • Organization of necessary activities with all involved support parties (to restore service levels) in case of service level violation
  • On-time, target-group-oriented reporting of E2E service quality to service stakeholders (business as well as IT)
  • Acting as interface between business and IT
  • Operational responsibility of the company-wide E2E service management and IT operations (inc. E2E incident management, E2E problem management, E2E change management),
    • Analysis, classification, prioritization, routing to the enterprise support parties to solve the problem or incidents, ticket completion check, impact assessment and completing incidents and problems from an E2E service perspective (business and IT) according to service levels
    • Organization of E2E Collaboration between all parties to resolve incidents and issues according to service levels
    • Implementation of operational E2E change management
    • On-schedule E2E communication (target group oriented) of incidents, problems and changes
  • Execution of escalation management
  • Analysis of log files from IT service monitoring
  • Creation, maintenance and management of existing or new documentation and the E2E Service Tree
  • Data Maintenance according to order
  • Creation and maintenance of service improvement plans
  • Project work on stability/improvement of IT services
  • Know-how transfer to team members eg in the form of internal training


  • Technical training or technical Education
  • Profound project experience in the field of service support
  • Know-how and user knowledge in Unix, Linux, SQL and APM
  • Project experience (at least 3 years) in the area of E2E Service Management and Support
  • ITIL- (user) knowledge
  • Very good German and English knowledge in oral and written
  • Independent, solution-oriented and structured way of working
