Task:- Develop new functionalities for the Data Science Platform (DSP)
- Evaluate new technologies in the field of cloud computing, distributed computing,
data engineering, and data science
- Resolve incidents and change requests
- Support customers
- Write user guides, announcements, blog posts, and best practices
- Prepare webinars, and trainings
Requirements (Must have):
- Issue tracking (Jira)
- Documentation (Markdown)
- Build infrastructure (Gitlab CI, Jenkins)
- Artifact repository (Nexus)
- Version control (Gitlab)
- Deployment and configuration automation (Ansible, Puppet)
Nice to have:
- DevOps mindset (you build it, you run it; taking responsibility for your work)
- Open source (being able to interact with and contribute to open source projects)
- Agile methodologies
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate the gist of scientific publications
- Customer orientation
- Communication skills
Environment/Miscellaneous:
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must, other languages (e.g. German,
French, Italian, etc.) are a plus
