Description
Performing design changes on aircraft in Accordance With (IAW) airworthiness requirements, environmental certification regulations and the procedures described in the DOH.
Position Requirements
- Engineering education for the required technical subject (Dipl.-Ing., BC, MC) or comparable education.
Required Experience and Abilities
- Minimum 5 years' experience with aircraft design or similar.
- Experience as avionics DE (or equivalent) within an airworthiness design certification processes or comparable background.
- Good knowledge of and experience in working in accordance to EASA P21J regulations.
- Knowledge of the DOH and procedures described in the DOH.
- Demonstrated ability to self-assess appropriate technical competency.
- Knowledge of technical and industry standards with regards to design, analysis procedures, as well as system integration activities
- Demonstrated high level of communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to lead technical peer review processes and provide constructive feedback.
- Holds a valid passport and able to travel internationally.
Desirable Experience and Abilities
- Experience with the application of EASA and/or FAA regulations.
- Experience with General Aviation (GA) aircraft types.
- Experienced in Structural Modification of aiframes and aircraft structures.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural and international environment.
- Proficiency in English and German languages.
