Beschreibung

Transition Manager

Aufgaben:
*Eigenverantwortliche Planung und Steuerung der Transition einer Service-Erweiterung und Überführung in der Betrieb sowie Implementierung neuer SLAs
*Projekt-Qualifizierung, -initiierung (set-up) und planung (Spezifikation / Scope, Ziele & Ergebnisse, Struktur, Deliverables & Milestones, Timeline, Ressourcen, Kosten) für mittlere Projekte in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem übergeordneten Account- und Programm-Management in Abstimmung mit dem Kunden. Dabei Nutzung von Standard PM-Methoden und -Tools.
*Projektsteuerung im oben beschriebenen Umfeld.
*Eigenverantwortliche Gestaltung und Durchführung von Präsenzterminen sowie zugehörigen Veranstaltungen zu Projektinitiierung, -Planung, -Status und -Übergabe mit Kunden und Stakeholdern, auch auf Management-Ebene

Voraussetzungen:
*Fachschul- / Fachhochschulabschluss oder vergleichbare, in der Praxis erworbene Kenntnisse
*Mindestens 5-7 Jahre Berufserfahrung im IT-Umfeld
*Min. 5 Jahre Erfahrungen als Projektmanager mit nachweisbaren Ergebnissen
*Zertifizierter Projektleiter nach IPMA- oder PMI-Standard (vgl. IPMA Level C)
*Zertifizierung nach ITILv3 (mindestens Foundation), Erfahrung mit Service Management
*Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse
*Erfahrungen im öffentlichen Sektor sind vorteilhaft

IT Transition Management Director -ENGLISH CV

The Transition Management Director is responsible for assuring the following actions take place in line with contract schedules. These actions may be accomplished directly by the Transition Management Director or through coordination of a transition team. This role requires up to 50% travel.

Aufgaben:

Pre sales support:
*Owns and draft the Transition documents for Bids or answers to RFP
*Produce the costs for Transition and work streams interfaces
*Review solutions and cost model for assessment
*Perform customer oral presentations

Deal On-boarding:
*Consults with bid management/account management and reviews Transition proposals, contracts and other documents to determine scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, budget and procedures for executing the program
*Conducts deal on-boarding sessions to assure that all stake-holders in the project, including the client, have a common understanding of the terms and conditions (including commercial, solution, pricing/costing and resources) of the project
*Coordinates to assure that all human resources activities occur to meet staffing requirements on service start date
*Develops and implements communication plans to address the total transition cycle and the initial steady state period, including senior management

Price Costing Validation:
*Validates the assumptions used in project pricing/costing development
*Produces a gap analysis to highlight differences between assumptions used in pricing/costing and actual data gathered in due diligence process
*Creates a risk analysis and contingency plans to address the risks

Transition planning, controls and governance structure:
*Develop project plans, milestones and deliverable by service tower
*Program organization structure and governance planning
*Kickoff meetings (internal and client)
*Implement plan to smoothly hand off project to steady state management

Resource Management:
*Validates that the level of staff proposed, the source of staff, and their skill levels are in line with the contractual, financial, and solution requirements
*Validates that all non-people resources required for service delivery are in line with contractual, financial and solution requirements and that Procurement has a plan in place to procure these resources
*Produces a gap analysis related to resources and documents risks and contingency plans
*Assures all people and non-people resources are in place for steady state operations.

Due Diligence Management:
*Assures appropriate levels of due diligence and data gathering occur to allow for full validation of information and assumptions used in solution and proposal development. This includes such actions as client interviews, site visits, business process reviews, and other methods as appropriate.
*Assures the DD report is properly produced and reviewed with the Unisys account team and the customer to highlight the key findings and gaps versus the BAFO

Establish Financial Function:
*Assure project accounting structures and budgets are in place
*Assure client billing processes and procedures are in place
*Develops and implements processes and procedures for variance/reporting, ARC's /RRC's, Change control account and other financial functions.

Solution Validation:
*Validates the assumptions used in project solution development
*Produces a gap analysis to highlight differences between assumptions used in solution and actual data gathered in due diligence process
*Creates a risk analysis and contingency plans to address the risks
*Assures solution is implemented for steady state

Governance:
*Produces a business relationship mapping model to show key relationships on the project
*Establishes processes for reporting, meeting and escalation of issues
*Establishes detailed change control processes, issues and risk management
*Documents governance structure and processes

Client Acceptance of Transition Plan:
*Develop and deliver formal Transition Plan to client
*Review Transition Plan with client, document changes and obtain client approval of plan.
*Review all Transition deliverables with the client and obtain their final approvals
*Sign off the official Transition completion with the client

Voraussetzungen:
*Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management/Administration or advanced degree in related discipline.
*Experienced leader in managing all aspects of Global large-scale outsourcing transitions including seamless integration of various technology service towers from multiple vendors.
*Experienced in setting up and leading a PMO
*Excellent leadership skills: able to motivate culturally diverse groups, across different countries and time zones, to ensure that objectives are effectively and efficiently achieved.
*Excellent project management and project planning skills to anticipate best and worst case scenarios in transition design structures.
*Excellent program management skills and experience, including group facilitation and team management skills
*Good project financials accountability experience ( able to manage project to budget and margin improvement programs)
*Experience managing third party suppliers

Certifications:
*Project Management Professional (PMP) desired
*Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) desired
