Product Manager, Credit Cards, Payments, Agile - Frankfurt
My client is a global Payments organisation, currently seeking an experienced Payments Product Manager for a 12-month engagement, based in Frankfurt.
Interesting background would include:
Digital banks, payment/card processors, Startups focused on Payment instruments like Cross border, open API integrations, payment service provider/integrator, white label Wallet/payment service development companies
Avoid:
Someone from network, large scale banks, card manufacturers, large Payment players
Drive & personality:
Lead cross department teams on a singular mission to achieve a Goal
Able to work independently with regards to delivery, decisions and management of escalations with Customer/Vendor BUT also communicate/raise the issues with management at right time to not loose time/focus
Ability to onboard the stakeholders, articulate the proposition and get the buy in for a project
Highly communicative and has the emotional intelligence to work with the like/unlike minded individuals
Great story teller (presentation skills) during the customer/internal meetings answering the what's in it for me question
Motivate the client and internal departments in the short and long term planning.
Lead and own the Roadmap for the projects assigned ensuring there is constant evolution of the product in line with the market & business developments
Dynamic, confident, communicative and driven
Professional Experience:
Work cross department inter/intra company - consolidate project plans, milestones, align priorities across the involved teams and have a consolidate view of the plan
End to end project delivery ie Requirements gathering & documentation, prepare and follow-up project plans, solution designing & change request management with vendor, explain technical & functional concepts to customer & vendor to define the appropriate solution, support customer in launch
Post launch roadmap management ie gather the future requirements, prioritization and scheduling, rollout of features on regular basis
Worked with customer support departments for B2C products, able to define and monitor the KPI & SLA's for customer support
Monitor the project with regards to Scope creep, cost & budget and SLA's.
Explain the product concepts in pre-sales discussions with customers
Technical:
Project management methodology and PMO tools (both experience and methodology, must hands on)
Awareness of agile PM framework (very important nice to have) and ability to develop the project plans aligned with the different Agile teams
Knowledge on business intelligence, Datamodelling with Excel
Business case definition
Deep understanding of payment network, card processing, card and consumer account life cycle
Basic knowledge of Tokenization & digitization concepts
Languages:
- German - fluent (role based in Frankfurt)
- English - fluent
- Polish nice to have
