Warehouse Manager

Our client, a global leading telecommunication company is recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to join their business in Germany.

Position Title: Warehouse Manager
Position Type: 2 years fixed term employment
Start Date: February / March / April 2018
Duration: 2 years fixed term employment
Location: Simmern, Germany

Responsibilities:
- Management and development of direct reports to ensure accurate receipt of Inventory goods, as well as the delivery of received shipments to customers or subcontractors
- Managing the stock appropriately through various processes including cycle count, quarterly count and yearly count etc
- Overseeing and improving functional area performance by managing staffing, distributing and prioritizing work, and ensuring communication and training completion on skills, safety, legal, and work requirements
- Providing leadership to enable the error-free distribution of physical goods for both internal and external requirements. As well as, enable error-free packaging, inventory, and shipment for materials from LSP
- Working closely with other departments and suppliers, you will help to ensure that customer requirements are met while maintaining product and service quality and consistency.
- Report to logistics manager directly for any issue
- Ensure that policies and procedures are created, maintained, and followed
- Administer systems to ensure error-free shipments
- Supervise staff through coaching and succession planning
- Identify and implement system and process improvements
- Develop, monitor, and report performance metrics
- Ensure timely and Accurate Receipts of Incoming Inventory Shipments daily
- Inventory stock cycle count accuracy 99.5% in different frequency
- Ensure timely and Accurate Outbound of shipments daily
- Provide communication regarding job expectations and changes
- Provide a Safe, Compliant, and Ethical Work Environment

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- 5-8 years experience in logistics industry with minimum 3 years people management or supervisory experience
- Fluent German and English language
- Data Analysis skills (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Good Communication skills when communicate with internal or external customers
- Travel Required, can stay in different place as required by company
- Normally 8-hour shift, 5 days a week; but can accept overtime work at weekends and holidays
