Site CoordinatorWe are currently recruiting for our client, a prestigious telecommunications company, for a Site Coordinator, to join their business in Germany.
Position Title: Site Coordinator
Position Type: contract
Start Date: Jan 2018
Duration: 3 months’ rolling

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert level advice and consultancy to Project Teams in the field of site design
- Ensure that site designs, construction and electrical standards and specifications are agreed with the customer prior to the start of the project
- Understand local conditions and tailor site designs to best match the local environment
- Guarantee minimal design to provide value engineered designs
- Review site specific designs as produced by the Design Consultancy and make recommendations to manage cost and simplify construction
- Provide hands on training for staff who will be attending Technical Site Surveys (TSS), reviewing drawings and approving designs
- Review and approve alternative materials proposed by suppliers and customers
- Assist the Design Consultancy to produce non standard solutions as required
- Ensure the site designs are in line with customer’s requirement and standard of the operation and maintenance
- Ensure that site designs are compliant with local Health and Safety requirements
Qualifications:
- A qualified engineer with a minimum Bachelor degree in Structural, Civil Engineering or similar
- Experience as Site Manager in Rollout Project in terms of Site Planning, Engineering & Coordination towards partner and customer and 3rd party (landlords etc.)
- Organization experience in german telecommunication market.
- Experience of ensuring quality through design and designing within Health and Safety guidelines
- Good negotiation skills to be able to influence the decision of discussions with customers and suppliers
- A good communicator, fluent in German and English able to clearly convey meaning.
- Experience working in multicultural teams
