Data Consultant - German Speaker
Location: NRW, Germany
Duration: 1 month initially
Language: German and English
Rate: Competitive (Euros)/hour
Working Hours: 8am-5pm
Type: part time
Key skills:
-Excellent MS Excel skills, in particular regarding usage and concepts, design, formulas, macros and VBA development
-Expert knowledge of "BMC Remedy" and "ServiceNow" and underlying concepts, including accessing the applications by MS Office products to retrieve master data as well dynamic data (eg incident- and problem management data)
-Sound knowledge of good practices and the relevant (security-) standards such as ITIL, COBIT, ISO 2700x, BSI, NIST and regulatory requirements, eg MaRisk and BAIT
-Analyzing, enhancing/developing and implementing internal control systems to monitor providers
-Consult, built-up and enhance reporting under consideration of risks and security aspects
-Presenting concepts and results at different levels (technical-, management-level).
-Excellent analytical, design and problem-solving skills
Scope of work:
- Create weekly, monthly reporting
- Transfer of data from the source systems Remedy and Service Now
- Check for correct data transfer from the data sources
- Adapt the VBA and macros to changes in the source system
- Support in case of errors and queries from client
- Advising on the extension of the control framework taking into account the risk
- Implementation of the adjustments required by the client in the control framework
- Adaptation of metadata such as eg. Mapping file if required
