Data Scientist - Contract - Berlin
Job Summary
We are looking for a data scientist to work with the exceptionally interesting data generated daily through our client's platform. Using a wealth of digital data you will help them to understand the journey and behaviour of their customers and their engagement.
You are:
- A strategist with demonstrated experience in devising end-to-end analytics strategy
- Expert with a wide variety of statistical modelling techniques and a wide range of tools
- At least 8 years of experience in delivering customer analytics around traffic optimisation
- Capable of presenting to both technical and non-technical C-Level audiences
Responsibilities and Duties
- You are able to manage and analyse large data sets with analytic rigour by using the usual data retrieval and manipulation methods.
- Experience wrangling structured data in relational databases as well other file formats such as JSON. You have understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning methods and have experience implementing these algorithms in a business context.
- Experience with models predicting customer behaviour and next best action frameworks.
- Knowledge of marketing analytics or predicting customer behaviour an advantage.
- You are familiar with the standard data science stacks such as Python, R or similar. Proven ability to work effectively with colleagues from different disciplines across business and technical functions. Exceptional communication skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- MSc or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Analytics or equivalent quantitative field.
