My client in the Stuttgart area is looking for an experienced Supplier Manager with a strong backgrounf in software.

Supplier Manager Software

Summary
The Supplier Manager software is responsible for the software deliveries of one or more SW sub-suppliers required for software development. This includes the close coordination with the SW project manager regarding the planning of SW deliveries and the control of the supplier. He / she defines the requirements for the supplier and checks the deliveries for quality.
With his / her tasks in project planning and tracking, his / her goal is to comply with the associated processes, so that project milestones are successfully achieved.

Responsibilities (technical)
Responsible for the supplier's software delivery internally and externally.
Preparation of technical requirements.
Definition of acceptance criteria.
Close cooperation and self-responsible coordination with the SW and project leader.
Ensure that the objectives of the software development project are achieved by planning and monitoring software delivery.
Deadline monitoring in the code beamer.
Delivery of software packages / deliveries to the project (s).
Communicate information effectively and transparently.
Review of supplier development and progress
Change Management


Tasks and activities (professional)
Coordination and documentation of the technical interfaces to the internal domains, SW, architecture and HW department, involving the supplier and the responsible architect / TL / SWPL.
Analysis of customer requirements, coordination of the delivery item with all affected project domains, preparation of the project plans and their coordination with the supplier
Monitoring the performance, the deadline of the software supplier and controlling intervention if necessary
Specification, execution and documentation of acceptance tests of SW deliveries Organization, participation and documentation of regular coordination rounds with the software supplier
Adherence to the processes and requirements specified by the project in dealing with suppliers, in particular SPICE-compliant setup of Supplier Management (Process ACQ.4) and participation in SPICE assessments
Creation of regular status feedback for the PL and the supervisor
Prepare SoWs, coordinate with the PL, supervisors and purchasing and create all the necessary conditions for commissioning in accordance with applicable processes Knowledge and skills
Degree in Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Telecommunications or comparable degree programs
Professional and project experience in the field of automotive or embedded product development
Analytical skills and good system understanding in the embedded area, knowledge of common system architectures
Knowledge in the area of (SW) project management
Knowledge of embedded software in C / C ++ • Strong communication and organizational skills and assertiveness
Independent working method
Knowledge of standards and quality standards IATF16949 and ISO15504 (A-SPICE) • Fluency in written and spoken English
