Task:- Supports the Program Manager to initially defining, implementing and continuously improving the project management methodology to be used together with the external implementation partner
- Supports the Program Manager for ensuring that all project team members understand the methodology and can properly apply it
- Supports the Program Manager in all project internal communication activities, Prepares the Program Leadership Meeting and other meetings
- Provides input and maintains project charter and project plans and supports the Program Manager in managing all program management and planning activities.
- Responsible (based on agreement with Program Manager) for quality for defined internal and external project management deliverables.
- Responsible for the project management documentation and managing change orders
- Responsible for: Tracks, maintain, manages and reports Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies and Decisions): Ensures that the log is always updated
- Responsible for managing the process to obtain the status reports from all project stream leads, consolidates the outcomes into an overall program status report and prepares the weekly Program Leadership Team meetings.
- Maintains the project metrics reporting and project finance management
- Manages purchase orders and monitors and tracks in close co-operation with Corporate Controlling the financials of the program.
- Supports the Program Manager in updating and periodically reviewing the cost forecasting and project resource planning of the program.
Requirements (Must have):
- 2+years experience on professional level
- Understands the program objectives and scope
- PMO or Management Support experience is desired.
- Strong communicator (technical and business/project impact)
- Ability and willingness to manage contradictions
- Understand and balance interests of different stakeholder groups
- Ability to deal with uncertainty, ambiguity and moving targets
- Solution oriented, “every negative feedback / failure is an opportunity to learn”, team intelligent
- Ability to listen to multiple points of view and assimilate the best parts of all into a solution
- Ability to recognize the point of consensus
- Depth of understanding the what and the why and ability to stand in for it with 100% commitment (credibility)
- Likes working with numbers
- Presenting, listening skills and the ability to communicate in an adaptive way.
- Fluent in English, German is wishful
