BI Consultant/Architect
Whitehall resources are currently recruiting for a technical BI Consultant for our client based in Germany.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 12-18months
Location: NRW, Germany
Language: English (main) and German (highly desirable)
Task Description:
Consult the BI Stream Lead in designing the future BI landing platform for various BI applications and solutions. Analyse and rate the proposed provider solutions based on the outsourcing contract. Conduct gap analysis and support our QA team in ensuring the expected quality for migrated applications and solutions.
Experience with/in
- Microsoft based BI solutions
- MS SQL Server, Analysis Services
- Windows Server Administration
- Microsoft Active Directory (permissions, delegations, SPNs)
- Oracle Exadata
- Oracle RDBMS
- MicroStrategy & Webfocus knowledge would be a plus
- Datacenter Transition projects
- general understanding of component based application/system architecture
- analyze platform designs and identify gaps (GAP analysis)
- document architectural designs, decisions and definitions
- 2nd generation outsourcing contracts & Project Management
