Aufgabe:- Coordinate product development team communication
- Assist and coordinate in defining system requirements and resolving technical specification issues
- Recommend additional testing and development as required, and assist with the failure mode and effects analysis
process and customer specific processes to achieve product release
- Support in determining and investigating design alternatives
- Discussing product modifications at the customer, to clarify and agree requirements, and gain program team
approval of cost and tooling
- Support vehicle prototype build events and launches at JLR and Tier 1
- Resolve system issues and support in finding the root cause and verifying the resolution of test incidents
- Support general business development with Key Account Management
Anforderung:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or comparable.
- 3 years or more experience in Engineering Project Management, Development Engineering or similar.
- Willing and able to travel internationally.
- Logical thinker and problem solver.
- Able to prioritise issues to provide the most appropriate local support to the customer
- Mechanical and/or electrical development understanding
- Experience of Quality processes and tools, such as Ishikawa, Is / Is not, 8D and so on
- Automotive experience, preferably having recently worked closely with JLR
- Experienced in JLR specific processes and expectations to help guide the team with these
- Excellent computer skills including those to support the product emergence plan. Specific tools such as Vector
CANoe, Dimensions, RPLAN an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Open minded team player working in multinational teams
- Fluent in written and spoken English
