IFRS Dependency Manager #
Location: Munich, Germany
Start date: ASAP/Duration: 4-6 months
Role:
We have a contract opportunity for a IFRS 17 Dependency Manager to work for our client in Munich, Germany.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, manage and monitor all activities that include the implementation of IFRS17 specific requirements within the new IT system landscape
- Keep intensive contact with the designated IFRS17 project to ensure AGCS as a whole is prepared to meet legal requirements
- Prioritize and communicate necessary actions throughout the whole project
- Avoid clashes in required resources, in required systems and deployments
- Coordinate joint test-phase along the PMLC/SDLC
- Other key activities required to support the overall programme
Required skills/experience:
- Good knowledge of accounting for insurance contracts in general (IFRS4 and - nice to have - IFRS17)
- Experience in the implementation of accounting standards within a changing IT environment
- System architecture skills
- Analytical thinking and the strong ability to structure detailed requirements
- Proven ability to manage complex project environments
- Excellent communication skills

The initial contract duration is 4-6 months, with likelihood of extensions.
