Our client is currently looking for an Data Migration Manager (m/f) for a project in Dusseldorf.
The Data Migration Manager will have complete responsibility for:
- Leading on the systems data migration needs for the new solution (SAP modules OM, BP, ICM, FS-CD, Sales Controlling system, Competitions System, Broker Portal)
- Overseeing and ensuring delivery of all aspects of data analysis, mapping and transfer
- Owning the quality of the migrated data and the validity of the migration processes and operation
- Owning all integration touchpoints to the new systems
Key responsibilities of the Data Migration Manager will include:
- Identifying the data migration impact of all proposed changes
- Reviewing gaps and proposing a solution for data migration during the solution design phase
- Devise and get approval for the data migration strategy for the implementation
- Oversee and ensure the production of a mapping matrix for all data
- Oversee and ensure a gap analysis for any missing or archive data
- Reviewing as is data quality and putting in place plans to address any required data quality improvements
- Oversee and ensure the building of intermediate database creation scripts
- Oversee and ensure the building of data validation scripts
- Ensure the accurate filling of intermediate data tables during data load
- Proven management experience of data migration projects
- Experience of working in a complex, multi-priority organization
- Experience of successfully managing data migration teams in an end-to-end SAP implementation on multiple SAP projects
- Experience of working within delivery teams for projects of significant size
- Excellent communication skills -> ability to communicate with all levels of management and operational people as well as experts in different areas such as commercial, legal, etc.
- Senior Manager with experience in driving aggressive and accelerated timelines and projects
- Experience in coordinating various parties to secure required content
- Reporting skills for presenting issues to management
