Foundation Architecture Knowledge
- Fluent in German and English
- ITIL Intermediate, ITIL Expert Preferred
- Waterfall, Agile SDLC process experience
- Six Sigma or other process improvement is a must.
- ITSM v3 2011, TOGAF 9, NIST, Cobit 5 & ISO 20000
- Organizational Change Management Experience
- Service Now and/or BMC ITSM Suite
- Workplace, Application Network, Hosting or Application Experience in either a operations, engineering or architecture discipline is a must.
- Nice to have: DevOps Experience
Need IDEALLY
- College degree, specialized training, or 15 years work experience in this area
- Typically, 8 years of relevant work experience
- Requires expert knowledge of ITSM/ITIL architecture and service standards, systems, as well as systems design
- Experience or understanding of project management methods
- Understanding of relevant technologies and development life cycles
Strong business and product knowledge
Works in a consulting and architecture capacity on one or more complex ITSM/ITIL architecture projects as the project lead. Works with Business, Operations and Technology groups to manage and deliver complex ITSM architectures based on corporate vision, technology strategy, and business requirements. Drives thought leadership and strategy, and develops core competencies, for ITSM Architecture. Can step into role of Senior Architect in one or more other Architecture discipline. Acts in a consulting capacity on technical architecture projects to create standards and define policy.

- Expertise in Process and Organizational Architecture, Policy and Standard development

RESPONSABILITIES;
Product Leadership
- Keeps up to date with the business environment and anticipates forthcoming business changes
- Provides expert knowledge of ITIL/ITSM process, technical, people and data architecture and consults to Business, Operations and Technology teams
Strategic Management
- Works with Business, Process and Application Architects, reviews business drivers, needs and strategies and understands implications for ITSM technical architecture
- Prepares solutions to implement the technical architecture, and proactively identifies and validates opportunities to share/re-use existing components where possible
Strong Business Partnership:
- Establishes strong working relationships with Businesses, Operations and other Technology team members
Role specific Responsibilities
- Acts as SME and project lead for team/area of responsibility for process, governance, metrics and organizational design
- Creates definition of objectives, scope, approach, and deliverables
- Creates technical architecture standards and policy for area of responsibility
- Reviews target business architecture and understands implications for process and technical architecture of the ITSM solution
- Prepares technical architecture deliverables in accordance with standards and methodologies (including Component Architecture Method), and consistent with the target business architecture, TOGAF 9, ITIL v3 2011, Cobit 5, Waterfall and Agile Software Lifecycle
- Provides support and guidance to the development teams during the analysis, development and testing processes
- Develops and evaluates technical architecture framework
- Documents how process components can be implemented for use in business systems, in terms of:
- their means of interaction/communication with human and other components
- how process components persist and make data accessible and align across processes
- Specifies risks associated with (business, application, technical) component implementation
- Consults with application development and infrastructure teams to plan the order and content of successive releases of the application components

- Proactively supports knowledge sharing within the Architecture team and across Technology
- Encourages and reinforces re-use of information services
People Management
- Manages day to day workload of junior team members, monitoring quality of deliverables, and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of project schedule and identify/mitigates risk by quality assurance reviews of deliverables and maintains the cohesive and holistic approach of the team.
- Plays a role in performance management by either writing appraisals, giving personal feedback and agreeing development plans with team members
- Provides input into project management team on individuals performance
- Regularly holds information sharing sessions
- Develops, trains, and coaches junior team members, including providing on-the-job training
- Promotes effective teamwork, both within own group and across Technology, and manages interpersonal issues
