Job description:
Customers IT has committed to achieve cost savings in the area of IT Infrastructure Services which will contribute to the group wide Voyager initiative. To identify and implement cost saving measure an IT Housekeeping Project was setup in the department Common Service Design & Products.
Phase 1 has been completed recently. Phase 2 already started and is scheduled to run until end of this year. Phase 2 currently includes the following areas of work:
• Server Assets
• Client Assets (Desktops, Laptops)
• VPN Connections
• Mobile (Devices and Contracts)
• (Data Center) File Storage
• Software Licences
• We are currently looking for two external consultants who are going to join the project team and will be responsible
• to identify data sources and (if applicable) data gaps
• to define Key Performance Indicators (KPI) in each of the area mentioned above,
• to calculate KPI's on a regular basis
• to calculate cost saving estimates based on KPI target values
• to propose (additional) cost saving measures in order to achieve overall cost saving targets if necessary
• to act as interface to functional controlling
• to create reports for IT service volumes and costs
Skills:
• (IT) asset management
• Experience in IT Cost Controlling
• Ability to link/ merge and analyse data from different sources
• Definition of IT service related KPI's
• Cost/Benefit calculations
• MS Excel, MS Access, SQL
