SENIOR MANAGEMENT CONSULTANT (m/f)
The background of the project:
The client is running a DC consolidation program. The aim of the program is to consolidate three datacenters into a single new one hosted by one global DC provider. The three major work streams are
1. the setup of the target DC infrastructure
2. the preparation and execution of the application moves into the new location
3. establishing of disaster recovery functionality for the basic infrastructure services and the business critical application
Aufgaben:
- Support the program in the area of service management processes
- Analyzing the current process landscape with focus on IT Support and Change processes
- Determining deficits and design methods for mitigating deficits and implementing new or modified
processes
- Assisting managers and the project team in assuring that existing processes are aligned to meet new
requirements imposed by global IT transition projects- ensuring a successful handover of the operational
and support processes to the line management throughout the transition program
- Steer the deployment of new or modified working instructions into the existing service management
environment
Skills:
- Well-founded knowledge of service management processes and transition projects
- Good Knowledge of transition projects and the impact on business and the IT support processes
- Ability to assess requirements and to design and align processes to enable and maintain an adequate level of process continuity and functionality
- Good communication skills is a must as well as the ability to drive difficult issues forward
- Strong personality able to drive her/his topics in a complex environment
