IBM Sterling Integrator EDI Integration (m/w) / Kennziffer - 27973Facilitate the integration of electronic data from customers and partners into the landscape to increase productivity and quality of our customers logistic services. To achieve that, the Integration Specialist will analyze, implement and support interfaces between business actors and customers applications, using his expertize on innovating integration platform(s). The Integration Specialist will assist the Integration Manager to offer best in class Data integration solutions and innovations via specific KPIs.
Key Tasks:
Following tasks are under the Integration Specialist’s responsibility on a daily basis:
Analysis of EDI/B2B/Integration solutions for IT projects
Coordination of external resources for the developments of the interfaces
Implementation of EDI/B2B/Integration interfaces
Setup of technical connectivity with the customers partners
Coordination of the support on productive interfaces
Function / Market & Industry Knowledge / Business Acumen / Process working:
Technical expertise in the area of Data Integration:
Electronic Data Standards (EDI, XML, IDOC...)
Communication protocols (SMTP, FTP, HTTPs, B2B specifics...)
Practical experience in developing on integration platform(s) (Sterling Integrator, )
Proficiency in Sterling integrator Business Process and Mapping tasks
Knowledge in freight forwarding and logistics
Skills & Competencies:
Readiness to provide alternatives and optimized solutions to the customer
Team player (with internal and external people)
Capable to generate creative ideas/solutions
Ability to work with different cultures and to manage cross functional interfaces
Time management (monitoring performance against deadlines and milestones)
Educational background / Work experience:
Minimum 3 years experience in IBM Sterling Integrator EDI development
IT Background
Work experience in IT Data Integration area
Experience in customer facing at IT level
Language skills:
very good command of English, written and spoken
German and / or other European languages advantageous
