Painting Inspector who also is a qualified Electrical (EFK) Eng.
Our Client is looking to hire an experienced and qualified Coating professional with good experience of working in the Oil and Gas and/or Renewable Energy sectors. An electrical (EFK compliant) certification is also required to ensure paint repairs can be conducted on an energised structure.
You should be competent in performing general paint inspections, conducting QA/QC tasks and delivering reports according to Client specifications. You should demonstrate high-calibre experience in managing coatings works and surveys simultaneously, with solid capacities in establishing and maintaining productive working relationships and ensuring works are conducted safely and as per agreed procedures.In addition to the main task of paint coating QC, some minor LOP close out of works will be required, ie performing some minor tasks while paint works are being conducted.
Key qualifications:
- FROSIO Red Level 3 or NACE CIP Coating Inspector.
- Electrical Qualified EFK compliant OR NVQ level 3 in Electrical Engineering (UK) OR NLQF level 4/MBO level 4 (Holland).
- Capable of following Method Statements & Risk Assessments, Toolbox Talks & HSE protocols.
- Good QA/QC experience.
- Excellent levels of Health & Safety reporting.
- Coatings Management.
- Material control.
- Full GWO Certified.
- Working at height & rescue training - wind turbines.
- Offshore medical (ENG 1 & Oil & Gas or similar).
- Confined space trained.
- 2 week rotation.
- Daily site visits via CTV.
