Network Project Manager
Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Network Project Manager
Network Project Manager, required for initial 6 months project in North Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Brief project description:
A Project Manager required for critical datacenter network project. Project Manager required to lead global datacenter XaaS network projects in design, installation, configuration and move into operation.
Scope of work:
To implement new network devices or architectures or to consolidate existing technologies in a global datacenter SaaS environment
Job Description/Duties/Experience:
* At least 8 years' experience in similar role
* Leading an expert team during concept phase
* Managing implementation of concepts and handover into operation according to guidelines
* Broad network experience has to be brought into the project in addition to pure project management
* Well balanced reporting and escalation behaviour
* Project Manager has to focus on the following aspects: analysis of network resources, demand/requirements analysis and alignment, project planning, tracking and reporting, documentation, change management
* Close collaboration within a global network team of architects, technical engineers and internal customers
Additional:
* Experience to manage complex projects in a changing environment
* Broad network architecture knowledge is needed
* Deep knowledge of project managing methods, PMI or Price certification would be great
* Experience to report to management
* Combine project management skills with network experience
* Ability to specify concept documentation and operational guidelines
* Strong customer oriented behaviour
