Sourcing Support & Procurement Specialist
For one of our globally leading tech clients we urgently require a Fluent German speaking Sourcing Support & Procurement Specialist. If successful you will be working from my clients lavish offices in Germany.
As a Sourcing Support & Procurement Specialist you will be a Graduate/postgraduate with around 5 years of Sourcing support & Procurement experience with specific exposure to Indirect Categories like office supplies, Logistics, Marketing services, MRO and Good SCM domain expertise in addition to having experience in SAP environment (MM Module) and having the ability to work on sourcing projects independently and as part of Team.
You will be proficient in MS Office and have operational exposure to SAP and Workflows.
Essentially you will have excellent communication skills in German (reading, writing and speaking)
Your day to day responsibilities will be (but not limited to):
- Responsible for supporting Sourcing initiatives, Planning & Order processing for indirect materials
- To carry out all activities in line with procurement policies
- Develop and manage RFx and eAuction events to comply with Purchasing Plan
- Run the bid process and co-ordinate with suppliers to obtain price offers.
- Support customer to Identify new suppliers for goods, systems, qualify and approve new suppliers, RFI/RFP/RFQ management, work out techno-commercial comparative statement
- Demonstrates expertise in negotiating
- Strong client facing skills
- Ensures robust governance, controls & compliance
- Analytical skills to generate and analyze various reports and highlight performance metrics
- Visit supplier/s (if required and approved by customer)
- Organize timely meetings between supplier/s and Customer for issue resolution on need basis
- Liaison with offshore team and ensure deliverables
Contract: 12-24 months + extensions.
Location: Munich, Germany.
Rates: Negotiable.
