Transmission ConsultantOur client, a global leading telecommunication company are recruiting for a Transmission Consultant to join their business in Germany.
Position Title: Transmission Consultant
Position Type: Contract
Start Date: August or September 2017
Duration: 3 months rolling

Responsibilities:
- Reception / testing SWAP planning, chains, network elements
- Backup of existing configurations d. UMUX network elements
- Planning configuration changes
- Documentation of planning changes
- Create new configuration f. UMUX network elements
- Export of old and new configuration files f. UMUX network elements
- Sending and archiving the old and new configuration files f. UMUX network elements
- Information f. Partner regarding network element configurations and circuits
- Participation coordination meetings with customer / partner
- Proactively find and display possible conflicts / problems
- Support during troubleshooting during / after SWAP
- Status reports / reports regarding transmission technology SWAP / chain
Qualifications:
- PDH / SDH transmission technology in general
- UNEM / UMUX / UCST
- Fluent German speaker - German language spoken and written
- Good English language skills
- Independent working and reporting to supervisors and project employees of the "AN compensation" and AG
- Responsible handling of customer data and equipment and compliance with the secrecy clause
- General and special knowledge of transmission technology (SDH, PDH)
- Completed studies in a relevant technical discipline or comparable by long-term experience gained in transfer technology.
- Profound knowledge of the transfer technology is indispensable, otherwise the person can not work in the specific work environment
