Our client, a global leading consultancy company focusing on Management, IT Consulting, Technology Services and Outsourcing company, is looking for a Chief Engineer - Harvesting Process to join their business in Germany or Finland.

Responsibilities:
- Chief Engineer for combine harvester design.
- Evaluate product spec w.r.to customer / QFD requirement and make product proposals.
- Defining engineering input and output parameters from design, manufacturing, and assembly perspectives that need to get factored into the design at vehicle and system level to develop a world class product.
- Compliance of customer requirements arising out of QFD to deliver the vehicle as per the customer requirements by continuously monitoring design of various system.
- Executing design process from concept, detail design and to SOP by deploying tools like CAE, simulation, analysis, identifying DVP and failure analysis.
- Vehicle packaging to ensure vehicle level attributes by suitable selection of aggregates.
- Serviceability and manufacturability of vehicle for avoiding late changes in the program / vehicle through simulating the process of assembly / removal of various components to assembly line / service workshop in CAD.

Qualifications:
- +10 years of agricultural engineering.
- Knowledge on combine harvesters, especially hybrid and axial; Knowledge on different market areas.
- Knowledge of homologation requirements for harvesters.
- Good understanding of Engineering & Design, Vehicle Engineering, Project management, Quality Analysis, legislative requirements.
- Good understanding of cost benefit analysis.
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in generation of technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes (fabrication, machining, heat treatment), tolerances, metallurgy, inspection and costs.
- CAD knowledge: Ability to use 3D and 2D part drawings and assembly drawings in a team environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Vehicle Layout to facilitate design engg for modification insertion / introduction of the new parts in the vehicle.
- German or Finnish and English language skills.
