Currently we are partnering with a leading Environmental Consultancy firm to support them with expected upcoming requirements. At this time we are looking for Quality Engineers with experience of working to German BSH Construction Standards. You will be supporting during the construction phase of an offshore transformer platform with responsibility for quality checks and quality management for supporting systems and components.Components you would be responsible for would include;
- Diesel fuel system.
- HVAC heating, venting and air-conditioning unit (pipe and ducted system), chillers, capacitors, fire dampers, room air cooling units, pumps.
- Cranes.
- Rescue cranes (life raft and life boat cranes).
- Oil separators.
- Draining system.
- Tanks made of GRP.
- Fresh and drinking water system (water treatment, defecator, osmosis plant, seawater pump, pipe system.
- Review of Design Documentation supplied by subcontractors.
- Performing Process Audits prior to construction start in the plant of the manufacturer.
- Obtaining all information required regarding action planning for construction control; dates, locations, expected durations etc.
- Conduct quality controls during production at the respective factories for the various components.
- Compliance checks of internal check lists/QA documentations.
- Production/process audits at the respective factories for the various components.
- Issue of inspection reports including photo documentation according to clients' requirements.
- Issue of Non-Conformity-Reports (NCR).
- Quality Control during construction.
- Participation in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
- Participation in Site Acceptance Tests (SATs).
- Review of Final Documentation.
- Civil Engineer/Technician/Foreman.
- Knowledge of BSH Construction Standards and previous experience working to/applying these standards.
- Verifiable experience in above mentioned components/systems and their testing procedures, especially FAT's.
- Verifiable experience in manufacturing technologies of the components according to the a.m. sections and their suitability for the offshore use on a unmanned platform.
- Experience in production control.
- Experience in document control and management.
- Good knowledge of German and English, in speech and writing.
- Verifiable knowledge and experience in conducting process and production audits.
- Verifiable qualification and experience in NDT testing.
