Next Ventures sucht zur Zeit einen Projektleiter mit SAP ERP Erfahrung fuer ein 2 Jahres Projekt in NRW.

Following scope of work has been defined so far for the IT workstream:

  • Infrastructure readiness of new offices (WAN, LAN, Telephony, Systems, )
  • Setup and configure the SAP company/companies
  • Includes roll-out; training, testing & support
  • Launch of SAP Extended Warehouse Management System, Control Management System
  • Master data management
    • Deduplication of data (product, customer, supplier)
    • Data conversion & adoption new master data processes
  • Interfacing of SAP and ProAlpha (current ERP system)
  • Interfacing of CDC specific systems with ERP
  • Include the new CDC in the IT operational service management model

Position Purpose:
The role of the Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes adequate resource planning and coordinating the efforts of (project-) team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Project Manager will also define the project's objectives/charter and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
The person owning this role will closely work with the overall project manager of the CDC and will report regularly the status and progress of the IT workstream.
Responsibilities:

  • Central point of contact of all IT related topics from end to end perspective
  • Direct and manage ERP project development from beginning to end
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
  • Coordinate resource availability and project priorities with other Project Management Office and team managers
  • Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
  • Determine and assess need for additional resources if necessary during project cycle
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
  • Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
  • Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
  • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle
  • Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project resources and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
  • Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management
  • Identify, analyze and prioritize project risk then develop response plans
  • Organize and facilitate meetings and working sessions
  • Overall responsibility to quality of deliverables
  • Deliver proper paperwork to administrative staff for customer billing

Minimum Requirements:

  • 4 year degree in Business or Information Technology
  • At least 5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
  • ERP implementation experience across multiple independent business units
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently
  • Flexible during times of change
  • Ability to read and interpret communication styles of team members who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines
  • Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating
  • Ability to cooperate and interact from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments/business units
  • Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise
  • Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity
  • Strong written communication, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Language skills German (preferred native, or at least fluent) and English
  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
  • Experience in Business Process Improvements/Change Management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Travel will be required and will vary depending on project and the phases of the project

Preferences:

  • Advanced degree in project management preferably experience in projects from customer perspective
  • Prince2 and/or Agile certification
  • Logistics or Manufacturing Industry Experience
  • Experience implementing SAP ERP in complex environments
