Project/Background:
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Local IFRS15 project team of one of the most important transformational programme implemented of our client. The IFRS 15 programme team is responsible for implementing a new accounting standard on revenue recognition which will fundamentally alter the timing and classification of theclient's revenue across all of the client's operating subsidiaries. The project is expected to result in significant changes to the revenue systems, business processes and business intelligence across all client Markets.

Tasks:
Support the local project lead and the Central team in implementing a consistent Change Management, Communication, Training and Transformation strategy across the business in all impacted functions as per decided implementation methodology and agreed project plans;
Decide the Transformation, Change Management, Communication and Training Strategy together with the Central TCC Lead and the local team. Understand local needs in terms of stakeholder management, information requirements, transformational impact. Build the business change project plan accordingly and performs the required actions against it.
Facilitate the development of a strong change culture in the markets by planning and managing specific stakeholders management actions, to enable the business to move from where they are today to where they need to be once the regulatory requirements have been fully defined and implemented. Makes sure all the local risks, issues, blockers in terms of project support from local stakeholders, local availability and people readiness are timely identified and addressed in the project plan with the specific actions. Report back into the S15 local and central programme any significant deviation which might impact the overall S15 programme objectives.
Take the appropriate actions meant to satisfy the local communication requirements, making sure the local and the global standards are followed and the content is tailored to the audience, channel, timelines.
Makes sure the training needs are gathered, addressed in the training plan and performed accordingly, the materials readiness is fitting the expected quality and content and the training is delivered as per strategy, considering the audience, the delivery channel, timelines.

Skills:
The knowledge of methods to enable the business to transform processes, technology and organisational change
Skills and leadership competencies for people relations, negotiation, decision making, and problem solving including conflict management.
3 years+ recent telecoms experience
Demonstrable experience in leading complex change programmes in multi-cultural project implementations covering multiple locations
Abilities to deal within a multicultural environment
Strong presentation, communication skills and decision making skills with the ability to balance conflicting needs
Stakeholder management and ability to influence senior stakeholders
Exceptional communication skills including coordination skills, good personal presentation, oral and written communication skills
Excellent active listening skills and the ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
Willingness to travel to Central team and other local market locations (up to 20%)
Must Have: Portuguese (fluent)
