For our client in finance we are searching an external Credit Risk Management Consultant who can support the winding-up of Non Performing Loans (NPLs) on site in Italy or Spain.
Start: August 2017
End: July 2018
Volume: 150 project days
Location: remote work from Italy or Spain (introduction/training period in Düsseldorf, Germany)
Language: fluent English, Italian and Spanish
Project background:
Our client, a "Winding-up Agency", is a structurally and financially independent public law entity with partial legal capacity operating under the umbrella of the Financial Market Stabilisation Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzmarktstabilisierung - FMSA). To support the winding-up of Non-Performing Loans in Italy and Spain we look for an external Credit Risk Management Consultant.
Project description:
- Provision of a local "early warning system"/local market intelligence
- Beeing part of an existing Dealteam in restructuring section:
- attending meetings and negotiations with Italian and Spanish debtors, consultants and/or partners with the goal to respresent the interestes of our client
- Monitoring of the existing winding-up project:
- monitoring of the observance of covenants
- Analysis of contract works or - if necessary - adaptation in cooperation with a lawyer
- Reporting to our client
Required skills:
- completed university studies
- several years of experience in banking/finance industry, ideally in credit or restructuring section
- proof of reference (regarding winding-up of a portfolio) of Italian or Spanish banks, sponsors, state agencies or investors is a must-have criteria
- convincing personality and good communication skills
- English, Spanish and Italian (fluent in written and spoken)
