Our client is a highly successful and already established startup business that manages wireless Inflight Entertainment (IFE) systems, which enables customers to access entertainment, shopping and destination services through their own devices.
They are about to hire a larger team of software specialists to develop their next product evolution and take the business to the next level.
As a skilled IT Product Owner (m/f) with experience in handling Content Management Systems you will be responsible for specifying operational requirements, features and workflows to be integrated in a Third Party Content Management System.
Your responsibilities in more detail:
Schedule and drive touch points with stakeholders to review roadmaps and upcoming features.
Manage internal and external stakeholder expectations on scope, cost and timing.
Be the face and voice of the product to demo on the fly, answer questions and own communication and reporting related to product status and reporting.
Engage and collaborate with development teams to ensure sufficient elaboration and understanding of business requirements exists.
Responsible for negotiating and agreeing the specification of Operational system requirements with other stakeholders within the company.
Work alongside Head of Development to report status and deliver the project to plan.
Provide accurate estimates for assigned tasks and deliver these tasks to plan
Required skills to perform this role:
Several years experience in working with Content Management Systems involving Multimedia items (Audio, Video, Digital Publications)
Operational experience in software development.
Several years experience as a product owner or in a similar role.
Excellent communication and personnel skills, with both technical and non-technical people.
System architecture
Motivated, self-managing, strong analysis, ability to lead others and solve problems.
