Big Data Architect (Big Data, Cloudera Impala, Apache HBase)
Big Data Architect required for immediate start in Germany, as below.
Profile
Enterprise architecture and over 3+ years in Big Data.
Strong experience in Requirements gathering, Solution Architecture, Design, Development and Deployment
Implementation experience on at least 2+ Big Data projects
Proven experience in Datamodelling & architecting Big data-based Platforms for large customers
Should have been responsible for implementation of full life cycle of a Hadoop solution, including requirements analysis, platform selection, technical architecture design, application design and development, testing, and deployment
ROLE
Design and build scalable infrastructure and platform to collect, process and analyze very large amounts of data (structured and unstructured), including streaming Real Time data
Work closely across an array of various teams and organizations in the company and industry
Exhibit Strong technical team leadership, mentorship and collaboration
Provide technical support to all team members during project execution
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Architecture Design, Data modelling and advanced SQL experience
Should have in depth knowledge on Cloudera Big data distribution
Hands-on experience with Design and development on Hadoop stack including Hive, Impala, Spark, MapReduce, Oozie, Sqoop
Hands-on experience with related/complementary open source software platforms and languages such as Java, Python
Experience in any search engine platform such as Solr is desirable
Experience in Agile development methodology
CLIENT MANAGEMENT SKILLS
Must possess good client facing experience with the ability to facilitate requirements sessions and lead teams and present analysis in business terms
Must have led/managed/executed analytics driven project through the complete life cycle of the project
Certification in any Hadoop distribution
Confident and self-starter
Must possess a detail-oriented approach
Ability to adapt and thrive in the fast-paced environment
Good written and oral/presentation skills
Willing to travel and adapt to different client environment
