For one our clients we are looking for a Project ManagerProject Description:
Supervises interdisciplinary project team out of client´s business and external IT service providers. Project is delayed in A&D with difficulties to analyse the process end to end and define business requirements as delta to existing process and application template.
Primary objectives are:
1. Bring the project back on track
1.1. Analyse issues and identify root causes
1.2. Develop action plan and align with project manager and line management
1.3 Execute action plan
2. Manage project successfully until stabilized - ambition level 6 month
3. Handover to client´s project manager step by step including KT and coaching. Expected transition period is 3 months. Task handover to be based on progress in maturity.
Main task:
• Review and analyse current project status:
• Which A&D tasks still open
• Clustering and Prioritization / Challenge business regarding prioritization of requirements
• Concept to finalize open topics: how to close, who is needed, detailed steps with timeline
• Coordinate the requirements from the different countries / business units so that they are handled in most efficient way
• Support business in defining / structuring the requirements
• Challenge the reason why needed, address to PM in case a simplified approach could be an alternative • Review / update project plan and install constant tracking of progress according to plan
• Review existing project plan and defined milestones
• Define detailed concept and steps to reach the milestones
• Establish daily tracking on progress compared to plan
• Review constantly overdue tasks and address to people that need working on • Prepare and moderate workshops to finalize A&D phase
• Clear target definition for workshops
• Define needed preparation: what, by whom, until when o Moderate the workshop
• Define next steps with timing and responsibilities
• Resource capacity review
• Define needed resources / resource capacity and clarify availability
• In case of resource shortage address to PM
Required Skills:
• 10 year experience as IT project manager, experience with Dax30 and CPG companies
• Several year experience in managing OTC and TPM projects
• Experienced in managing waterfall and agile projects
• Strong leadership and motivation skills
• Strong stakeholder management skills including persuasive and wining communication skills
• Business fluent English and German
• ITIL process experience, e.g. Change Management Skills very welcome to reduce ramp up time
