Key Account Manager

We are currently recruiting for our client, a market leading technology company that is innovative the automotive space, for a Key Account Manager to join their business in the Germany.

Position Title: Key Account Manager
Position Type: Permanent

KAM is responsible for promotion of cutting edge technology and software products, managing key accounts (insurances, appraiser organizations, OEMs, Leasing companies, Fleet companies, Partners), maintaining a long term relationship with these accounts and maximizing sales opportunities within them.

Responsibilities:
- Focus on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business
- Key interface between the account and all relevant divisions within the company (e.g. Finance, Product Management, Development)
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Analysis and evaluation of business processes and customer needs and customer development plans
- Up & Cross-Selling of services to key account clients
- Revenue driven position: Targets in average at US$ 7.0 mio (customer revenue basis); net revenue growth in average at 10% per FY
- Market research: Input for Product Management
- Drive the company’s digital platform ideas

Qualifications:
- University degree in business administration or matching work experience
- Excellent experience in IT, software, and technology sales
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Key Account Management of large customers
- Excellent presentation and sales negotiation skills on senior management level, proactive approach; able to work independently
- Supervising/leading tender processes end-to-end
- Preparing of proposals (content and commercial wise)
- Flexible and proactive in creating of tailor-made pricing models
- Reviewing and adapting of contractual documents (content and commercial wise)
- Experienced with Cross-selling and up-selling; Creating and analysing business cases and establishing value proposition calculations
- Native German and fluent English knowledge
