We are currently recruiting for Product Director Smartphone to join their business in Germany

Position Title: Product Director Smartphone
Position Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:
- Understand smart phone market and consumers’ needs
- Reviewing product specifications and requirements and recommending the scope of present and future product lines. Appraising new product ideas.
- Comparing company’s product to competitor’s products
- Make product definition of smart phones and Apps - specification, features, functions definition, user experience design
- Guide ID design, interaction design, GUI design
- Cooperate with Sales and Marketing Director
- Make product marketing and sales strategies, obtain product market share
- Analyzing product's requirements and development programs, bring new product to market
- Establish time schedules with engineering and manufacturing
- Lead the product and design team - recruit, orient, train, discipline and appraise work results

Qualification
- 6+ years’ product definition and design experience
- 3+ years’ experience in leading a team or project
- Knowledgeable in smartphones and app design, as well as agile product development and lifecycle management process
- Proven successful product / project
- Experienced in dealing with customers
- Understanding of user experience, universal design and interaction design
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work effectively against hard deadlines
- Ability to work efficiency independently and in a collaborative team
- Fluent in German and English
