For our client in the telecommunication industry we are looking for a BSS/OSS Project Manager
Start: ASAP
Location: Germany - Dusseldorf
Duration: 3 Month rolling contract
Language: English; German (preferred)
Skills:
- 10+ year experience in telecom Domain
- English is mandatory/German is preferred
- Minimum of 5 previous projects in a similar role with at least a similar number on work streams and similar project
duration for more than 2 similar international customers.
- Graduate Level Bachelor in technical area
- Min.of 5 years experience in similar role with experience in the following areas:
- In specific solutions: Telecommunication BSS and OSS IT Projects
- in International Matrix managed Project Teams
- Certified in PMP/PMI partitioning Professional or similar
- Specific exposures: having worked on the vendor site
- Very strong communication skills toward the local team and customer.
- Strong experience in working with an international team of engineers of different culture background
Tasks:
- Conduct a thorough review of all components in the Project Plan: scope, deliverables, time frame, and cost. Verify that all parties are satisfied with the content.
- Define project scope
- Develop/maintain baseline project plans - Refine requirements with project/program stakeholders.
- Manage contractual instruments for the successful delivery of the products or services provided by the project.
- Manage project plan integration (Produce project plans/ensure appropriate integration of all activities to meet objectives)
- Manage project quality - Identify the quality standards that are relevant to the project and determines how to satisfy them within a Quality Management Plan/Execute Quality Management Plan
- Manage risk (Proactively identify risks/Create and maintain a project risk log/Record and assure visibility of identified project risks)
- Monitor/report project status
- Ensure all services and support efforts are coordinated with the customer as well as with client
- Verify incident tracking tickets contain complete status information, are up-to-date and resolved within a
reasonable amount of time
- Serve a point of escalation for ongoing issue resolution involving deployed solutions
- Ensure all technical and support escalations are fully documented, tracked and resolved in a timely manner
